PROFESSIONAL BIO

Presently, I am working as a postdoctoral research fellow pursuing my research work in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). I completed my Ph.D. on the topic entitled "Some Fixed Point Theorems and Their Applications in Abstract Spaces" in Applied Mathematics (February 2021). I have worked as an assistant professor in the mathematics department of the Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Mathematical Sciences, in J&K, India. I have taught courses in Functional Analysis, Ordinary Differential Equations, Topology, Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Complex Analysis, Engineering Mathematics, and other topics to postgraduate students as well as undergraduates. I believe I have been quite successful as a teacher, as evidenced by my positive student evaluations as well as the many unsolicited compliments I’ve received from students.
